Archimedes Systems Announces New Director of Retirement Planning Solutions

Waltham, MA – January 11, 2010 - Archimedes Systems announces the appointment of Stephen Daniels as Director of Retirement Planning Solutions. Archimedes is a leading provider of web-based college and retirement planning tools and personalized communications that inform, educate, and motivate employees, participants, advisors, and individuals.
Warren Hadley, President of Archimedes Systems, says, “Steve brings considerable retirement subject matter expertise and experience working on technology projects. Despite the current recession, our business has grown and our capabilities have expanded dramatically making it the perfect time for Steve to join Archimedes.”
In his new role, Mr. Daniels will have direct responsibility for Archimedes' Retirement Planning Solutions business, including product innovation, marketing and client relationships. According to Mr. Hadley, “We are looking to Steve to continue our expansion in the retirement planning tool arena. Our new Roth Conversion Optimizer© tool has been very well received in the market during the past year and Steve is well positioned to fuel our growth by spurring innovation and by expanding our relationships with the financial services industry.”

For the past decade, Mr. Daniels played pivotal roles at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, including seven years as Director of Retirement Sales Training – Advisor & Institutional Distribution Groups. He has also enjoyed management positions at New England Funds, Scudder, Stevens & Clark, and Boston Financial Data Services.
Mr. Daniels is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and holds a variety of certifications and registrations, including FINRA Series 6, 63 & 26.
