Account Executive, Personalized Communications

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced sales and marketing professional to generate new clients as well as maintain and expand existing client relationships in the employee benefits, retirement, and compensation arena. This position will be responsible for designing, managing and executing short- and long-term marketing and sales programs. The Account Executive will also leverage his/her knowledge and understanding of the retirement and benefit markets to identify opportunities and areas of growth for Archimedes products and services.

This sales and marketing representative will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and sales in this line of business including attaining sales quotas. This position will require significant prospecting leading to sales meetings and winning new business.

The Account Executive will have the opportunity to demonstrate Archimedes' capabilities to senior HR and business executives at Fortune 1000 companies on a daily basis and to market through third party benefit firms. This position will require some travel.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new business
  • Identify Archimedes' full market potential and generate leads
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan
  • Develop and execute a successful sale plan
  • Participate with Archimedes team in determining product strategy
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts
Requirements
  • B.S./B.A. or equivalent experience
  • Product knowledge required; Prior experience in the communication, HR, retirement, or benefits arena
  • Five + years of proven sales success
  • Familiarity with the traditional marketing disciplines, including direct mail, collateral, print and interactive media
  • Solid experience in new-business development and achieving sales quota goals
  • Ability and willingness to make cold calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Team player
  • Proven ability to network and build rapport
  • Negotiation and closing skills
